Adília Fernandes

Coordinating Professor at the Higher School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. PhD in Psychology; Master in Psychology, with specialization in Social and Organizational Psychology; Specialist in Nursing under the DL. No. 206/2009 of August 31; Specialist, by the Order of Nurses, in Community Nursing. She is director of the Higher School of Health at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança; Integrated Member of the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing (UICISA: E), with the following main research areas: Health Promotion; Occupational Health; Healthy Aging; Sleep quality. She is the author and co-author of several scientific articles. She has participated in several conferences, national and international.  

André Arede

Since young linked to the management and organization of cultural events through d’Orfeu – Associação Cultural, where he has always belonged to the Governing Bodies. Graduated in Radiology from Escola Superior de Saúde Dr. Lopes Dias, he entered, as a freshman, at Tusald, where he would become Treasurer years later. In 2006, together with a generation of good guys, he founded the Estudantina Académica de Castelo Branco. Chairman of the Board of the General Assembly since the founding of the Association created from Tuna, in 2008, until 2011. In 2012 he assumes the Presidency of the Board of ACECB In 2013 he moves to Coimbra, to study Masters in Nuclear Medicine at the Higher School of Health Technology in Coimbra and joins Tu Na Destes, where he is still active. In 2014 he joins Vitistuna, as a rehearser for Ebandartes.

Augusta Mata

Bruno Gonçalves

Bruno Gonçalves has a degree in Management Informatics, a Master’s in ICT in Education and Training, a PhD in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Educational Technology and a Post-Doctorate in Educational Sciences in the area of teacher training. He is a guest associate professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and is dedicated to scientific research in several areas, one of which is university tunas. He is a founding associate of RaussTuna – Tuna Mista de Bragança, where he has performed numerous functions since 2009. He led several musical projects, highlighting the album “Tuna + Tuna – Um Festival de Duetos” (2016). He is the author of several original documents, lyrics and melodies and the work “A Tuna! A decade of stories”. He is also co-author of several scientific articles on topics involving university tunas. In 2012 he was distinguished with the title “Honoris Causa”. In 2014, he was awarded the Unio, Labor et Justitia – José Adriano medal. In 2016 and 2019 he received a Vote of Praise from the General Assembly. He is, since 2013, President of the Jury Board of Rauss & Tunas – Solidarity Festival of Mixed Tunas in Bragança and, since 2020, member of the Honorific Order.

Carlos Teixeira

He is Director of the Escola Superior de Educação (ESEB) of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, where he teaches in the Portuguese Department. He is president of the Board of Directors of the Association for Reflection and Intervention in the Educational Policy of Higher Education Schools (ARIPESE). He holds a PhD in Literary Studies: Literature for Children, with the thesis Diarística in Literature for Children: The Writing of the Self Between Reality and Fiction . He focuses his research in the areas of literature, culture and didactics of reading and writing, having participated in several ongoing teacher training projects.

Clarisse Pais

Clarisse Pais has a degree in the Basic Education Teachers Course, Portuguese/French variant, by the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. She has a Specialization Course in Documental Sciences – Documentation and Library Option, by the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Coimbra. She is the Coordinator of Documentation and Libraries Services at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. She is a Specially Hired Professor at the School of Communication, Administration and Tourism at IPB, since the academic year 2012/2013. She gave several training sessions in different IPB schools. She is the author of scientific articles, 1 book chapter and has participated with several communications in national and international conferences. She is also the editor of several conference books.

Cristiano Torrão

Attends the Degree in Forest Sciences and Natural Resources at the Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra. He is currently a member of the Permanent Staff of the Portuguese Air Force and is also a Volunteer Firefighter in the municipality where he resides He joined the VitisTuna – Tuna Mista of the Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra in January 2016 , having acquired a taste for choreography and tambourine rhythm from an early age. He was responsible for the tambourine section for two years. Currently , with participation in dozens of festivals and tuna meetings,  he seeks to remain assiduous in the activity of the tuna, trying to instil the tuna spirit that characterizes it throughout the country. Çhe started to take his first steps in Portuguese guitar in order to also live up to the tradition of Coimbra and VitisTuna . He is also , since 2019, a member of Estudantina Académica do Tejo.

Felix Martin Sarraga

He holds a PhD in History (specializing in student bands and university tunas) and in Medicine and Surgery (specializing in bibliometrics) from the University of Murcia. He was a professor at the University of Puerto Rico, coordinator of the teaching of clinical practice for medical students at the Universidad Católica San Pablo de Murcia and president of the Science and Research Commission of the IV Health Area of the Region of Murcia until 2022. His doctoral thesis on the social commitment of students and university tunas obtained the highest possible qualification in the Spanish doctoral system. He has written 9 books about Tunas and Estudantis, as well as hundreds of articles about them on the Internet and in magazines. He has given about thirty lectures related to the history of the Tunas at Spanish-American universities and at international congresses. He is chairman of the Scientific Committee of TVNAE MVNDI and organizer of the Ibero-American Congress of Tunídeos since 2016) and the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico (Río Piedras, 02-11-2018). He is a member of the Tuna of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia since 1979. Gonçalo Figueiredo

He is a student of the Degree in Music in Community Contexts at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Since 2020, he has been associated with RaussTuna – Tuna Mista de Bragança, where he has held the following roles so far: Digital Platforms and Marketing (2020/21); Member of the Board (2020/21); Team XIII Rauss&Tuna’S (2020/21); Presentation and Social Communication (2021/22); Deputy Musical Coordinator (2021/2022). In 2021 he was distinguished with the title “Vote of Praise”. He currently performs the functions of: Musical Coordinator (2022/23).

Helder Fernandes

Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Health. Vice-president of the Technical-Scientific Council of the Escola Superior de Saúde. Director of the degree course in Gerontology. International mobility coordinator. PhD in Geriatrics and Gerontology. Master in Psychology of the Elderly. Nurse Specialist in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatry. He worked as a nurse at Hospital Santos Silva in Vila Nova de Gaia and Hospital Pedro Hispano in Matosinhos.

Isabel de Castro

She is transmontana by birth. She did her higher studies in Porto and Aveiro She has a degree in Historical Sciences – archeology Degree in Music Education; Master in Psychology of Music; Postgraduate in Psychology of Music; Title of Specialist in Music. His areas of research and specialization include Psychology of Music, Music, Ethnomusicology among others From the different activities carried out in the academic and community context, she increased and implemented different research projects, artistic, cultural, social, political, among others,contributing to the cultural expansion and appreciation of music in particular, in its artistic, professional and human aspects. He has scientific articles and books published in his field of expertise. He is a member of INET- md (University of Aveiro). She is a Professor Coordinator of permanent appointment at the Higher School of Education – IPB, where she still works today.

Isabel Ferreira

Main Coordinating Professor in the field of Biochemistry; She was Vice President of the IPB, Director of the Mountain Research Center and Mentor of the MORE Collaborative Laboratory – Montanhas de Investigação; She is one of the most cited researchers in the world (top 1%), having been distinguished in the last 7 years in the Essential Science Indicators index; She has received numerous awards; She coordinated and was a member of several scientific and advisory boards of national and international scientific institutions. She held the position of Secretary of State for Interior Enhancement of the XXII Constitutional Government since 2019. Mariana Domingues de Pimentel Teixeira

Student of the Degree in Laboratory Biomedical Sciences at the Higher School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Since 2020, he has been associated with RaussTuna -Tuna Mista de Bragança, where he held the administrative role of Treasurer of the Board, Vice-President of the Board and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of RaussTuna – Tuna Mista de Bragança and is part of the Organizing Committee of ISET’23.

Miguel Sanchez

Passionate about the tourism sector and its dynamics, marketing and strategy applied to tourism and specialized teaching in this area, he began his professional career in front office and catering departments in hotels, reconciled his academic and professional careers and acquired experience in customer service, in bar service and events, passing through the commercial department (e-commerce). He is a specialist consultant in the implementation of sustainability benchmarks in companies in the tourism sector, with a focus on monitoring the operation and sustainability strategy of companies, in the economic, social and environmental domains, as well as a technical professor and director of a course in hospitality and restoration. Currently, with functions in the Executive Board at Biosphere Portugal. In 2007 he joined the Student University of Viseu,

Nuno Ribeiro

PhD in Business Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain). Coordinating Professor at the School of Technology and Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Integrated Researcher at the Unit for Applied Research in Management (UNIAG). Author of several publications in the areas of Public Accounting, Public Auditing, Public Sector Accounting and Finance, especially Local Administration. He is currently Director of the Higher School of Technology and Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.

Rui Duarte Marques

Rui Marques is an integrated researcher at INET-md – Institute of Ethnomusicology, Center for Studies in Music and Dance. Graduated and master in the area of Music Education by the Escola Superior de Educação of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, he also concluded the master’s degree in Music Teaching (specialization in Music Theory and Training) at the Department of Communication and Art of the University of Aveiro (DeCA-UA) . In 2019, he completed his PhD in Music, in the area of specialization in Ethnomusicology (DeCA-UA), with the defense of a thesis entitled “Tunas in Portugal: spaces for construction, negotiation and social transformation through music – a case study on the Tuna Souselense”. He acted as a researcher in several R&D projects developed at INET-md, a hub at the University of Aveiro, and funded by FCT. He taught in several elementary schools, specialized artistic education in music and higher education. He collaborates, as a visiting professor, with the University of Aveiro, the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, the School of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences of the University of Minho and the Lusófona University.

Sonia P. Nogueira

She is a coordinating professor at the Superior School of Communication, Administration and Tourism of Mirandela of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. She is the Principal of the same School. She is a professor and researcher in the area of public financial management, focusing on the use and usefulness of financial information by politicians in the context of decision-making in Local and Central Administration. She is an integrated member of the Center for Research in Political Science at the University of Minho. She holds a PhD in Business Economics, specializing in Local Government Accounting. She is the author of several scientific articles in peer-reviewed and indexed scientific journals. She also has several participations in indexed international and national conferences, having been a member of the Scientific Committee of several. She has extensive teaching and research experience in higher education. She was Course Director and President of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Local Government Administration. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Municipal Administration.

Telmo Afonso

Born in Espinhosela-Bragança in 1965. He finished the general nursing course in June 1991, concluded the CESE and DESE in medical-surgical nursing in 1999. He began his professional activity at the then District Hospital of Bragança in July 1991, where he worked in several inpatient services and where he headed the Intensive Care Unit for approximately 8 years. In 2005 he took the pre-hospital emergency course which enabled him to provide services at VMER in Bragança and Heli in Macedo de Cavaleiros, since that date. He was president of the Association of students of the Superior School of Nursing in the years 1990 and 91. President of the Cultural, Sports and Environmental Association of Espinhosela between 2000 and 2009. He taught classes at the Piaget Institute in Macedo de Cavaleiros from 2006 to 2014 in Nursing and Physiotherapy.

Vasco Carvalho

He has a degree in Nursing at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and is currently a Nurse at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Bragança. He has been a member of RaussTuna – Tuna Mista de Bragança since 2012, where he has held a wide range of roles, including Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Administrative Council and Chairman of the Veterans Council, and the aspects in which he most stood out include into the Digital Marketing and Multimedia Production folders. In addition to these responsibilities, he was a member of the Restructuring Committee for the Tuna Mista Process, the Duets Project Coordination Committee and the Coordination Committee of the “Uma Década de Histórias” project. He was also involved in all editions of the Solidarity Festival – Rauss & Tuna’S and led the Festival teams in online format throughout the pandemic. He was distinguished with the following titles: Veteran Honoris Causa, in 2019, Meritorious Associate in 2021, Unio, Labor ET Justitia in 2022 and is currently a member of the Honorary Order and the Organizing Committee of ISET’23.

Victor Gonçalves

Adjunct Professor at the Department of Educational Technology and Information Management at the Escola Superior de Educação and sub-coordinator of the Center for Research in Basic Education (CIEB) at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Master in Multimedia Technology from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He is currently a Researcher at CIEB – IPB; collaborating member in the research group of the University of Salamanca “Innovación y Educación Digital”; member of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Information and Communication Technologies and member of the Interdisciplinary Secretariat Research Group (Brazil). From 2008 to 2018 he was a member of the Entrepreneurship Office at IPB and coordinator of the Administration and Application Development Center. He currently belongs to the team of facilitators of the Demola program. Participates(or) in several national and international projects (ERASMUS+). Author or co-author of more than 100 scientific publications. Since November 2016 he has been an Honorary Tuno of RaussTuna – Tuna Mista de Bragança, a restless family that knows how to interpret its challenges, overcoming each one of them.
